Personal Profile
Sarah is a consultant Ophthalmologist with an interest in cataracts, paediatrics and strabismus (squint). Following an undergraduate degree in St Andrews, Manchester and Switzerland, Sarah developed an interest in ophthalmology while working in Glasgow in 2002.
She began her ophthalmology career at the Tennent Institute in Glasgow and then spent 10 years working on the North London rotation working at The Western Eye Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster, Moorfields and Queen’s Square. Sarah completed fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has contributed to many medical publications to help develop a deeper understanding of clinical ophthalmology.
Sarah is an experienced consultant ophthalmologist, Lead for Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Joint Lead for Cataracts.
